4 Ways to Add Prayerful Movements

I have been in Arizona visiting my dad and step mom. It's been relaxing and I have had some time to read and reflect on the upcoming women's conference. While reading, I came across this quote,
"When movement is experienced as joy, it adorns our lives, makes our days go better, and gives us something to look forward to. When movement is joyful and meaningful, it may even inspire us to do things we never thought possible." - Scott Kretchmar, Penn State University Professor of Excercise and Sports Science

According to Rick Warren D. MIN, we can experience devotion and motion together even on busy days. Here are a few ideas that he mentions in "The Daniel Plan. 40 Days to a Healthier Life."

1. Stretch your shoulders and arms, but close your eyes to worship God in silence.

2. Stand up for 1 to 2 minutes while thanking God for your blessings.

3. Turn on the music and dance to your favorite worship music.

4. Spend some time taking deep breathes while focusing on his mercy. Inhale God's goodness and strength. With each exhale picture your worries and release them to him with each breathe.
