No Bake Guilt Free Brownies

Brownies, oh how I love brownies and a cold cup of milk. But do you know what is better than brownies? Sharing flourless and eggless guilt free brownies with the family. You feel like your treating your self, but it is healthy. For a mom, that is a win!

My mission is too find comfort foods and make healthier versions of them. It makes the taste buds and the kids happy. Tonight I whipped up some No Bake Quilt Free Brownies for movie night. No flour, just pecans processed into meal. Disclaimer: I used the magic bullet instead of a food processor so there were little flecks of pecan throughout.

They taste so much better than they look. I recommend using a food processor, it would make a big difference in the appearance. These gluten-free brownies are great for your family or friends who suffer from gluten intolerance or sensitivities and contain only 5 ingredients. Go ahead, indulge,  and eat them for breakfast, they are high in protein and contain only natural ingredients.

No Bake Guilt Free Brownies

4 cups pecan pieces
1 cup Dutch cocoa powder or cup raw cacao powder
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon sea salt (optional)
1/2 cup raw agave or raw honey

Pulse the nuts in a food processor until they turn into meal. Add cacao powder, cinnamon, and salt, and pulse until all ingredients are combined, making sure not to over process the nuts, or they will turn into a butter. Add agave or honey through the feed tube while processing. A dough ball will start to form. Remove the dough and press into a 8 or 9 inch square baking pan and refrigerate for at least one hour.
