Easy Pumpkin Shake For One

Pumpkin is a super food. Part of the winter squash family, one cup contains 30% percent of your daily value of vitamin C. It packs a vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant punch with only 80 calories per cup. It helps boost your immune system and provides 145 percent of the daily value of beta carotene in just one cup, which your body converts to the antioxidant and disease fighting vitamin A. Vitamin A helps keep the mucous membranes in your nose and mouth resistance to infection.
Squash fills you up with 6 grams of fiber and a 90 % water content. That means you get full faster with less calories.
To help you get some beneficial pumpkin, here is an easy yet yummy Pumpkin Shake recipe.
