Wednesday Workout Round Up and a 30 Day Challenge

The holiday season is fast approaching! During this season, it is important to remember to take care of our health. The colder days, hectic schedules, and lack of sun or daylight can lead you feeling frazzled and wanting to take more naps. The extra goodies eaten and reduced amount of physical activity can add to holiday weight gain.

To help you transition into the holiday schedule, I have created a 30 Day Photo Challenge, and have rounded up all of the Friday Fitness workouts and videos that I have posted so far (with the exception of the chair workout) in one location for you.

But first, Halloween is coming up, but the munching on candy will continue long after. Here is a workout to help burn off those extra calories.

Now for the fun stuff! Mark you calendars, because the 30 Day Thankful4Health Photo Challenge starts November 1st. Take a photo with that day's theme and share on your social media accounts with #thankful4health and #renew3 for a chance to win a free Holiday Recipe e-book and other goodies. The more creative the better!
To help you stay active during the holiday season, here are some other workouts than can be done when you are short on time. They can be done as rounds or broken up throughout the day. With any workout, always warm up and stretch after to prevent injuries.
Functional Fitness
Inchworm with pushup: Total Body Move
Power Jacks
Quick Workout
Rainy Day Circuit: For those just starting out
Intermediate or Advanced
Core Workout: Complete each exercise 10-12 reps for 3 sets.
(Disclaimer: Proper form is key with the bird dogs to achieve maximum core benefits of the exercise. My form is off due to a shoulder injury. Raise arms to a 90 degree angle.)
Hope you will join me for the 30 Day Thankful4Health Challenge! - Michelle
